Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate of charges before scheduling services.

The No Surprises Act is a federal law that gives you the right to receive an estimate of the cost of services at our practice. In addition, Minnesota law requires providers to disclose service fees in writing prior to or at the time services are delivered. You will receive this information before your appointment and before any charges are incurred.

It can be difficult to determine in advance how many sessions will be needed, as this depends on your specific concerns, progress in therapy, and engagement in the process. You may discontinue services at any time, or services may be ended in accordance with the terms outlined in your informed consent form.

Under the No Surprises Act, you may dispute charges that are at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate. While this situation is unlikely, dispute resolution information is available upon request. Any changes to fees will be provided in writing and must be agreed to before taking effect. Unless updated, fees remain the same for 12 months.
